Replacement Rooftop AC Unit For a Dometic Duo-Therm Penguin Low Profile AC

Question:
I have a 2000 Lance 1140 Truck Camper with a Dometic Duo-Therm Penguin Roof Top AC with heating element. I need to replace the unit, but wish to install an AC Only unit. Can you advise as to the correct replacements available? Thanks. John Perry

As the Dometic Duo-Therm Penguin is a low profile air conditioner I recommend one of the low profile AC's from the list below. We have white or black shrouds in either a 13.5K or 15K BTU rating.
13.5K White # ASA99YR
15K White # ASA86YR
13.5K Black # ASA56YR
15K Black # ASA68YR

Hey John, how did the swap to the low-profile AC on your Lance camper turn out? Did one of the 13.5K or 15K units give you the cooling setup you wanted? Your update could make it easier for others replacing a similar Dometic unit.
