Trailer Wheel and Tire Sit At Angle On Trailer With Axle-Less Suspension

Question:
A friend of mine has this style and maybe the exact same axle less suspension on his camper trailer. Tires on both sides sit at an angle. is this done on purpose or is the shims on the inner two bolts need to be thicker that holds the brake housing?

You could have one of a couple issues with the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # A35RD545E. First the mounts may not be square to the frame. I would start by checking to see if the side of the frame sits at the same angle as the mounting bracket. Next the frame may be twisting under the weight of the trailer. If this is the case you may need to add the steel tubing brace on the brackets as shown in the instructions below. And finally the last issue could be the spindle bracket became bent during use. If this is the case you would need to contact Timbren to get the replacements.
