Hi - I would like to know which hitch assemblies would work for my 2020 VW Tiguan - SEL model. Currently nothing is installed on my car. I want to use it for a Thule 4-bike carrier rack. Thanks. Mark

Hey Mark,
We have a couple of really good options for a trailer hitch for your 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL that will allow you to carry a Thule 4-bike rack like the Thule Apex XT # TH9025XT. I'll go ahead and list out the best options:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e43ZR
- EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7393
Starting with the EcoHitch, this is nice because it has a removable receiver which means when you aren't using the hitch, your VW will completely retain its factory appearance. It is the more premium option and a more involved install as the bumper needs to be temporarily removed, but worth it to those who want to keep the look of their car.
The etrailer hitch is the more economical solution and simpler install that you simply bolt onto the underside of your Tiguan's frame. It is mostly hidden except for the receiver, and I have added a photo below showing what the hitch looks like when installed on a VW Tiguan SEL.
