Hello Nico, thanks for reaching out. The 20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches # 63155 can indeed be used with the class 1 hitch on a 2018 Chevy Cruise. The cargo carrier can hold up to 300 lbs, but the class 1 hitch can only hold 200 lbs of tongue weight, so we do need to keep that 200 lb limit in mind. The cargo carrier itself weighs about 43 lbs, most push mowers will not weigh more than about 50 or 60 lbs so you will definitely be able to carry a mower with capacity to spare.

Hey Nico, how did things go using the Reese cargo carrier with your Chevy Cruze and lawn mower? It sounds like the weight worked out well within the hitch limit. Your update could make it easier for others hauling similar gear.
