Does Gen-Y Hitch Offset Gooseneck For Ford OEM Puck System Change Towing Dynamics

Question:

Does the Gen-Y Offset Ball GY43XR change the towing dynamics at all? Moving it back roughly 5 inches, I wasnt sure if it made for a bouncier ride, sway, etc. I currently have a 23 F350 with air bags and the reese goose box.

Hey JT,

That's a really good question and the answer is no, the towing dynamics aren't going to change for your F-350 if you add the Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Ford OEM Puck Systems - 5" Offset # GY43XR.

All this is going to do in regards to towing is give you that bit of extra clearance so you can take turns just a bit tighter than you otherwise would have been able to, so it's a really nice thing to add to make maneuvering a bit easier as well as get some peace of mind your trailer won't be crashing into your cab.
