Im looking for a TPMS that monitors both my pickup and a tandem axle trailer. Any suggestions?

Hey John,

There is a TPMS that will allow you to monitor the tire pressure of both your trailer and truck, and what you can use is an option from TireMinder. TPMS systems like this don't come with 8 sensors though for some reason, so you'll have to pick up the system and a couple extra sensors, which you can get with the following:

- Flow Through Tire Sensors for TireMinder TPMS - Qty 2 # TM66FR

I like these because they are flow through sensors, so you don't have to remove them just to air up your tires. Just keep in mind the sensors aren't designed to be used with rubber valve stems.

Thank you, Kyle, for the TireMinder TPMS information, Are the sensors internal with metal valve stems or external with rubber valve stems? I've read that the extra weight on rubber stems cause extra flexing and rubing on the rim that causes the stems to leak. What is your experience? All the best. John

@JohnF The flow through sensors are external with rubber. As far as leaking, that isn't something that I'm aware of that is an issue with these whatsoever.
