Question:
I have a Curt Echo brake controller that applies the trailer brakes whenever the trailer tail lights activate, Is the Draw-tite 5501 pulse preventer still available or is there another product that will solve the trailer brake pulsing?

Hey Peter, thanks for reaching out!
The Pulse Preventer 5501 has been discontinued, but it was designed more for the event of the tow vehicles hazard lights being on, not with the running lights activated.
If your Curt Echo # C51180 is activating the brakes when you turn the running lights on then I recommend checking that the wiring on your vehicle 7-Way is correct.
I've attached a pinout of a standard 7-Way that you can use to make sure yours is pinned out the right way.
