Question:
Is the mirror glass on these 2 models the Convex type, or is it the Standard type of mirror glass? I have a lot of trouble judging distances with convex-type mirrors, and was curious as to what these were. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The two towing mirror sets that you referenced, Longview # LVT-3100C and CIPA # CM11400, both use flat glass surfaces for their mirrors. Both are a confirmed fit for your 2011 Dodge Ram pickup.
These will not distort your view like the convex surfaces used for hot spot mirrors such as the Wheel Masters Convex Blind Spot Mirror # WM6800.
