How Wide is the MORryde Locking RV Storage Box MR43RR w/out the Brackets?

Question:

I have a 2018 Coachman 191RBS travel trailer. I have just installed the MORYDE STP-202 steps and would like to mount this box where my old steps were. I only have from 25.5inch to 25.75inch between the welded in brackets from the steps. They are not perfectly square to each other. There was a reference of both 25.5 and 27.75 for the box width without the brackets. Would you know the EXACT outside measurement of the box. I can handle drilling mounting holes in the box as I wont be able to use the provided mounting brackets but I prefer not to cut out and weld under there and if the box is 25.5 , and maaaybe a little bigger Icould get away with it but at 25.75inch I dont know. Thanks!

Hey Jim! We've had this box out recently and have taken some measurements. I can confirm that the outside length of the MORryde Locking RV Storage Box item # MR43RR is 25-3/4" without the brackets attached.

Hey Jim, how did the fit go with the MORryde storage box under your trailer after measuring that 25-3/4-inch width? Your update could make it easier for the next person working with the same step brackets.
