Will The Curt Echo Override The Factory Brake Controller In A 2022 GMC 1500 SLT Duramax?

Question:
22 gmc 1500 slt duramax. Im having issues with my factory brake controller. Once plugged in, eill this overwrite the factory controller?

Hello Ryan, thanks for reaching out. The Curt Echo # C51180 can indeed be used on your 2022 GMC 1500 SLT Duramax with the factory brake controller. The Curt Echo will cancel out the factory brake controller and take over all braking functions.
