Published 05/07/2014 >
Question:
I purchased a 1991 fifithwheel with dual axles for hunting. the axles have been moved under the springs to increase hight prior to my purchasing the camper. I belive I need to lift it 2.5 -3inch higer to level it with my stock 2014 F-250 4x4. can I purchase a lift kit to acheive what I am trying to do? if so, can you tell me what to buy?

Since your trailer has already had the axles flipped for increase ride height I would be reluctant to recommend you lift the trailer any more. The higher the trailer sits the higher the center of gravity is and the more likely the trailer would be to sway among other things. Before you resort to that, is your fifth wheel hitch in its lowest position? How about your pin box, is it in the highest position on your trailer?
From the picture you submitted it looks like your trailer only needs a little more height to sit level. A taller trailer tire could do the trick. If your tires are in need of replacement this would be a great time to increase the size of them.
