What are the Towing Capacities of the Sleeve Lock A Frame Coupler CA-5296-B

Question:
The video indicates it has a towing capacity of 1,875 lbs which confusing to me if it has if has guts of 12,500 lbs. mos 16ft box trailers with out a load weight more than what is indicated as the towing capacity. Am I confused or just not understanding what I should be buying

Hey Bob, sorry for the confusion but the overall trailer weight capacity of the Sleeve Lock A Frame Coupler part # CA-5296-B that you referenced is 12,500 lbs and the tongue weight capacity is 1,875 lbs.
Tongue weight is the amount of vertical weight the coupler can support so just the weight pressing down on the hitch ball basically.
