Can Curt Rebellion XD Ball Mount be Used to Tow 7k Trailer

Question:

Was looking to use this to tow 28 foot travel trailer at 7000lbs . Tow vehicle is 1 ton dually, would this be a good hitch or do you still suggest using weight distribution?

Hey JT, so the Curt Rebellion XD ball mount part # C83WR is a really solid ball mount that would work great towing a 7k trailer with a dually truck. I don't think you'd need a WD system...but your vehicle being a 1 ton dually might be the only vehicle I'd say a WD system would be overkill since it was built to tow.
