That jarring back-and-forth tug when hitting rough roads wears down both you and your gear. The Shocker Hitch Impact Max uses two rubber bumpers inside the adjustable channel to cushion the motion between your truck and trailer. They soak up the jolts and vibration, taming that harsh ride so your equipment—and your body—don’t take the beating.
Switching between trailers with different coupler heights is no problem. The adjustable ball platform slides easily into four available positions, giving you up to a 7" drop. You can also flip the unit into a rise position when needed. Once you have the right height, just reinsert the pins and clips, fold the handles back, and you’re set to tow level and steady.
When you’re hauling serious weight, this mount is built to take it. The 2" x 2" shank and Grade 50 steel plates are rated for a 20,000-lb gross towing weight and a 2,000-lb tongue weight. The zinc-plated 2-5/16" ball resists corrosion, and the powder-coated finish keeps the steel protected from rust and grime over time. It’s solid gear that stays reliable under pressure.
Nothing’s worse than a noisy hitch that rattles the whole drive. The extra hole in the shank gives more adjustability so you can dial in clearance and limit play. The design leaves enough space—about 1" of shank length—for accessories like Rock Tamers mud flaps without interference. With fewer vibrations and less slop, it tows smooth and quiet mile after mile.
This setup doesn’t need much attention to stay at its best. A built-in grease zerk fitting makes lubrication quick whenever it’s time for maintenance. Just add grease at the pivot point and go—no messy teardown or complicated service needed.

Works as expected and well built, heavy duty hitch.
After using your e-trailer bracket to eliminate the receiver from rattling, I got the rattle back from the "drop bracket". I still gave it a 4 star because the amount of rattle is reduced very considerably.

Not too well. Between its limited adjustability only works for one of my four trailers and heavy weight, I find myself rarely using it. But once it is hitched, it works well.
