Question:

Will the Swagman Truck Bed Bike Rack fit a 2008 Ford Sport Trac? Your write-up implies that it will, however, the spec say it will fit 52 - 69 and the inside of the Sport Trac bed is 50.

I spoke with my contact at Swagman and he said the Truck Bed Mount Bike Rack part # S64702 is adjustable down to 50-1/4 inches. So if your 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac has a bed that measures 50 inches wide it is going to be a very tight fit.

Another option would be the Yakima BlockHead Single Bike Truck Bed Mounted Rack # Y01117. This rack is intended as a universal carrier that can fit the majority of bicycle sizes and types when mounted in a truck bed.
