Do I Need to Put a Protective Layer Between the Zinc Coated E-Track and the Aluminum Trailer?

Question:
I have an all aluminum trailer and bought the E-Track system plus backing plates. Should those be Zinc plated just like the screws? Should I place a rubber piece in between the aluminum wall and the backing plate?

Yes, you should be placing a layer of rubber or sealant between the E-Track item # E19148 and the aluminum of your trailer. This layer will help prevent corrosion cause by contact of dissimilar metals.
