What are the Internal Dimensions of the Curt Solid Steel 3" Hitch Bar with Raw Finish C55NR?

Question:
Is the internal dimension of this 2 1/2? Wondering if this is an extension and a reducer? It obviously doesnt have a step out so I dont see how it could fit in 3inch ford hitch but also take a 3inch hitch? does it fit in ford 3inch receiver and then take a 2 1/2inch hitch accessory on the femal end?

No, it's 3" internally on both sides. The Curt Solid Steel 3" Hitch Bar with Raw Finish item # C55NR can be customized to be used as a 3" receiver extension or you can fabricate it into a hitch.
