I only need the braking system as the Patriot Blue Ox i have is out dated and needs a repair that they no longer perform. What is involved in installing this system? Does it used the car's brakes?

Hey Douglas,

There's quite a bit involved in installing the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes # SM99251.

It does use the vehicle's brakes, and to oversimplify, how it works is the brake lights of your motorhome and an inertia sensor will activate the brakes of your vehicle with the same intensity of your motorhome.
