Helpful Expert Reply:
The Optronics trailer clearance/side marker light # MCL44RB, is designed to work on a 12 volt system and could incur damage if used on a higher rated system.
A similar light, # MCL66R24B, is designed to work on a 24 volt system. None of the lights we currently have are rated behind 24 volts.
