Is Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section part # PD4655V Compatible with Lead Acid and Lithium
Updated 05/29/2024 | Published 05/30/2024 >
Question:
@JamesonC Is this the correct model? I see "PD4655V", "PD4655(LI)" and "PD4655LIV" throughout the documentation and various searches. Also, the spec section on the webpage only says "Output (no load): 13.6 VDC" for the PD4655V, while the instruction manual lists the (LI) model number with the 14.6v option. Are they all the same or different? Also, is the 13.6v to 14.6v change accomplished via a jumper? I'd like backwards compatibility with old batteries and I don't want it to ruin them.

Hey Josh, yes the part # PD4655V is what you are looking for as it is compatible with lead acid and lithium batteries. Previous generations of this converter were only compatible with one type of battery but currently it can switch between the two via a jumper switch like you mentioned.
