Ford 2021 F150, 5.5 ft bed. The specs say that it will tow 14,000 lbs. Which one of your auto slide hitches would work with this short bed.

Mike, for your 2021 Ford F-150 I recommend going with the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550040 with the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches # DM8552028-71.
This is an auto slide hitch so you won't have to get out of the truck to slide the hitch, has a nice 13k capacity, and will give you 22" of clearance when making tight turns, which is ideal since you have the shortest bed that Ford offers.
The reason you can't use the larger auto slide hitches like # DM8550034 is because they don't slide as much as this one which means they're more suited for 6 1/2' beds.
