Updated 07/02/2024 | Published 05/28/2024

Question:

I have a 2015 Thor Axis, 25.2 Looking for swaybars, front and rear....currently the front is slightly less than an inch and the back is about 1 and 1/8 in diameter. Are there any modifications needed?

Hey Phillip,

The 2015 Thor Axis 25.2 sits on a Ford E-350 Class A chassis so you would need the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar - 1-3/8" Diameter # RM-1139-189 and Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar - 1-5/8" Diameter # RM83ZR. These would both be simple swap outs without any need for modifications to the chassis in order to install.

If you're wanting to also add in a steering stabilizer then you would need the Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer for Ford E-Series # RM97MR along with Mounting Brackets # RM37MR.

Hey Kevin, there is a note that the 1 5/8 rear sway bar will not fit my 2015 thor axis. What do you think...you mentioned that it would be a simple bolt on with no modifications. Thanks

@PhilH If you're going through the our Fitguide then yes, it doesn't have it listed as a fit, but that's simply because we don't have every single fit listed for every motorhome. If you look at the manufacturer's fitment guide the # RM83ZR is listed specifically as a fit for emergency vehicles without auto chains and also Thor Axis and Vegas models only.
