Difficult to Thread Master Cylinder Surge Actuator Fitting
Question:
I am replacing Master Cylinder on Model 6 actuator. I have the replacement orifice. When I test the connection of the orifice to the M/C it seems begin to thread ok and stops way short of what would seem to be the end of the threads on the orifice. Both M/C and orifice are new and the right parts. Is there something I am missing? I dont want to force the orifice deeper if it is the wrong threads.

Does it seem to actually thread on (like more than a turn or so) and then get difficult or is it difficult to turn within the first turn? If it's can go a few turns it's probably something funny going on with the threads and you can gently push further but you might also try going like a half turn into the difficult thread and then 1/2 turn out back and forth to clean it out.
