Is There a Bike Rack For Front Hitch on Truck

Question:
I have a front 2 inch receiver hitch on my Toyota Tacoma truck. Why is this rack not recommended for use in that hitch? I have a camper on the truck and I dont want to add more weight to the rear of the truck, so Im wanting to use a front hitch rack.

Hey David,
The call on the Hollywood Racks Destination E-Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY66ZR not being approved for use on a front mount hitch is entirely the manufacturer's due to the increased instability at the front of the vehicle. You can do it, but the warranty will be voided, so just take note.
The option we have that will work that is the closest to the Destination in that it is a platform rack that can carry heavy ebikes and also grasps the bikes by their frames is the Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y88DJ.
