Question:

My Thule EasyFold XT 2 bike which I bought 05.05.2022 today will not lock with the key. it firs on the tow bar fine and the handle locks down on the towbar but I can not turn the key to lock it to the towbar for security. I have tried both keys. Is it safe to use without being locked on to the towbar with the key? Alao how can I resolve this issue? Regards Mark Squire

It sounds like somehow the lock cores on your Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # TH903202 got messed up which is why the lock won't lock.

I recommend just swapping the old lock cores out with new ones using # TH450400 and the universal change key # 853-1251. You can also use the rack as is without the lock cores, but the lock cores provide security to your stuff so I wouldn't recommend doing that.
