Recommended Replacement Latch for a Grand Design Solitude 5th Wheel

According to what we were told by Grand Design, our original part is 642066 was 420047 before. We have a 2020 Solitude 344GK-R. Will this fit on our baggage compartment on door side of RV? I measure our door as 1inch thick.

So it looks like the Lippert Slam Latch for RV Doors # LC54PJ will fit into a 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" cutout hole, and a 1/2" thick door. With your door being a half inch thicker, this slam latch is not going to work.
Instead, I recommend going with the Global Link Locking Baggage Lock Actuator Set with Mounting Plate # GL34FR which measures 5" wide x 6" tall, and will work with with doors that are .7" to 1.25" thick.
