I was wondering if a 2010 ram 2500 hitch will fit a 2010 ram 1500. As i have a friend who is giving me the hitch from his 2500

The answer to your question depends on the hitch. If it is the etrailer # e98852 or Curt # 13333 it will fit both the 1500 and 2500. If it is a full size hitch like # C15809 it will not fit your 1500. You would need to install something like the # 14374 or # e53ZR instead.
