Question:
I have a 2008. Monaco Motorhome, and I am replacing the ceiling fan. The old fan had a 2 speed wall switch. The new fan Lasalle Bristol pn 410TSDC42 has a 4 speed wall switch. Also my old fan had the direction switch built into the fan where the new one is in the wall switch. Can this be Wired where everything works correctly and will I need any other parts to do this?

Hey Greg, so from what I can gather the 12V RV Ceiling Fan w/ Wall Switch # 344410TSDC42BNBK is still a 2 wire system so it should work fine to replace your 2 speed fan. Basically the 2 wires, + & - , will go into the control box, then 2 wires will go out to the fan. So from what I understand, you won't need anything else to install this fan.

My problem is my old switch was a 2 speed and the directional flow was controlled by a switch on the fan. My new fan has a 4 speed switch and the directional flow is controlled on the switch..
