Can I Flat Tow Or Dolly Tow A Tesla Model 3 Or Model Y?
Updated 05/20/2024 | Published 05/17/2024 >
Question:
Is it possible to use the dolly to tow a rear-wheel drive Tesla model 3 or model Y with the rear wheels on the dolly?

Expert Reply:
No Kevin, it is not. Tesla clearly states that none of their vehicles can be flat towed in any orientation. This includes RWD vehicles like the model 3 and model Y. If the vehicle must be towed you will have to get all 4 wheels off the ground using a car trailer. That or purchase a vehicle that has better design and is intended to be flat towed. If you have further questions, I suggest that you reference your owner's manual, or contact a Tesla dealership.
