Will Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Fit a 1997 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 with Lift Kit
Updated 05/01/2014 | Published 04/29/2014 >
Question:
Considering the #31604 for my 1997 Ram 1500 Sport. A couple years back I had the truck lifted an additional 2inch for a total of a 5inch inch lift. Does this complicate the install or fit for this product on my truck.

Expert Reply:
Adding a lift kit should not affect fit of Curt trailer hitch # 31604 on your 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 unless the devices used to lift the truck occupy any space needed by the hitch or any of the attachment points on the frame needed by the hitch. I have included a link to the installation details for this front mount hitch so you can determine if there would be any fit issues.
