Shank For Use With Husky Weight Distribution
Updated 05/03/2024 | Published 05/02/2024 >
Question:
Hi I bought a hybrid trailer that came with weight distribution cars and a sway arm already attached to the trailer with the proper brackets. I just need a compatible receiver. I think this is husky but not center line. The weight distribution bars look like hockey sticks and are rounded on the curved ends. They are stamped 600 08. The sway arm is marked Cequent and “ Pro”. So I think this is Husky based on occurred I’ve carefully compared online. Which brand and model of receiver would work for this? Many thanks!

Hi JazR,
By compatible receiver are you referring to the weight distribution shank? If so, they are interchangeable between manufacturers so you can use one with your Husky weight distribution so long as it has the right rise or drop you need.
For example if you have a 2 inch hitch and need 7 inches of drop you could use the Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17121.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of shanks which you can filter through by rise/drop.
If you happened not to be referring to shank when you say compatible receiver, and instead meant the head unit of the Husky, then unfortunately that's not something we have as we don't offer Husky parts.
