Question:
Looking to convert my boat trailer from surge brakes to electric over hydraulic. It’s a triple axle with UFP oil bath hubs. Wondering what all I need to do this.

Expert Reply:
This will depend on if you have disc or drum brakes on your triple axle boat trailer.
Disc Brake Kit # HS381-9067
Drum Brake Kit # HS381-9066
Each kit contains the correct electric over hydraulic actuator, 7-way wiring and breakaway components. If you can send me some images of your current coupler along with the weight of your trailer and boat I can make a recommendation for a replacement coupler. And depending on where you intend on mounting the actuator you may need a hose like the # 310798 to make the connection to the new actuator.
Also depending on your truck and brake controller you may need an Adapter Module # HBA-CAM for the controller to work properly.
