The Locking Floor Mounted Storage Box for Enclosed Trailers # M387FR is not waterproof. The latch and lid were not designed to be waterproof as it is to be mounted inside an enclosed trailer. We do have a Dry Bag # CG48FV you can use to help protect any components that would go into the storage bag from getting wet should water be able to get through the lid.
