Will Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner Plug In to Dometic AC System

Question:
Hello, i received two packages. The air unit and the smaller metal box start capacitor?. I was told this was all I needed but watched an installation video that said I’d need a thermostat purchased separately. That’s just if adding a unit right? Or replacing too? I’m replacing an existing dometic unit. Can I just use existing dometic thermostat? Thank you

Hey Ryan, thank you for your purchase of the Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ASA56YR!
Since you're replacing an existing Dometic setup and this is designed to plug and play with a Dometic system you're good to go!
If you didn't have a Dometic setup (or one that we have compatible units for) then yes, you would need to also get an air distribution box and a thermostat.
