Mounting Hole Size Needed for Taylor Made Adjustable Handles for Boat Side Windows

Question:
my boat is a 1986 Starfire 225 SantaCruz. This is just like the one on my Boat but your adjustable handle said it needs a hole in the glass at 3/8 mine is smaller about 5/16 or 19/64 is there another size that is smaller for the window hole or do I just grind the plastic it down smaller but then will the end cap still hold it on for the glass. please let me know thanx.

The Taylor Made Adjustable Handles for Boat Side Windows # 36911616 only require a 1/4" mounting hole so they will work great for your application without any modification!
