Question:
I just purchased CURT 51190 with the appropriate harness for my 2106 GMC. Its supposedly all plugnplay. I am now trying to pair it to my Samsung S20. It discovered it ONCE, but didnt connect. Now it wont even show it in the device list. It says Devices foundinch but shows no devices, especially not my new Echo I have the newest One Control Auto app installed.

Hi Randy,
With it discovering it once we know it has the ability to see/communicate between the phone and Echo # C51180. We've found in the past that logging out of the app, uninstalling it, and then reinstalling it will clear the error and allow the two systems to communicate again. I have been hearing about issues with the new OneControl app though so if this doesn't work then I'd reach out to Lippert and see if there's an issue with the software that they can push an update down to fix.

Thanks Kevin. I had to move my 5th wheel yesterday, and surprise, surprise, it works when the trailer is connected to the truck. No where in the install/setup documentation does it say the tow vehicle must be connected to the trailer for the system to connect. You'd think it would at least connect so you know the 51190 and the phone were communicating.
