Internal Dimensions Of The Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # DM13689-95

Question:
What is the dimension height from the bottom of the flange to the top, inside surface of the body of the coupler that would rest on my trailer tongue tube? Width of that portion is 3, but no where can I find the height. I need the height so I know if this will fit my trailer tongue.

Hey Doug,
The inside dimensions of the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # DM13689-95 are 3" tall x 3" wide x 5" long (pictured below). The sides of the coupler don't need to fully cover the frame tube height-wise. As long as you have a 3" wide frame channel to mount to you'll be fine to drill through and bolt on the coupler with some of the frame extending below the coupler.

Perfect! That’s exactly what I needed to know. None of the videos on any of the Demco couplers mention the vertical measurement. Demco’s website doesn’t list that dimension either
