Can the Hellwig EZ-990 and the Sumosprings Solo Helper Springs Be Used Together

2015 Ford f150. Can I add a hellwig ez 990 leaf helper number 978 to a truck that has the black colored sumo springs. The sumo springs have 1/2 inch clearance before the touch without load on truck. I am looking to add more stability when pulling my camper and weight

G, Yes both the Hellwig EZ-990 Helper Springs # HE67FR and the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-117-47 can be used together.

The SumoSprings will replace the factory bump stops, and the Hellwig bolts above the factory leaf springs so the two won't interfere with each other.

You could indeed use both at the same time if you cared to, as they would fit but it isn't necessary. I'd recommend going with the Timbren #TGMRCK15S only, as that kit offers 8600 lbs of capacity which is plenty. This kit isn't compatible…

Hey Jeremiah, the Hellwig EZ-990 part #HE67FR can add height if you tighten them down enough. Basically how tight you go with the U-bolts will raise the suspension between 0 and 2 inches.
