Depth of the Latch Handle on the DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box DZ91716
Updated 04/15/2024 | Published 04/14/2024 >
Question:
I am going to mount this behind propane tanks where my battery box used to be. I have limited room between the front of the trailer box and the tank cover. How far out does the latch handle need to move to open the lid? 1 inch? more? Please measure and report.

The latch on the DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box item # DZ91716 sticks out 7/8" when fully opened. Additionally, the key when fully inserted extends 1-1/4" from the front of the box.
