4-Way Wiring for 2017 Chevrolet Traverse Without Tow Package

Question:
I have a 2017 Chevy Traverse AWD LT, that has a hookup for a trailer connector wiring harness near the rear passenger side but did not come with a hitch/reciever. We installed one after we got it. It does have rear air conditioning and a backup camera but no other settings like tow assist etc in terms of extra hardware/accessories. My question is, what connector do I need for a standard trailer wiring connection 4-pin? Does the air conditioning affect it? Since I have the hookup do I have the “tow package” even though I didn’t have a hitch and no settings for the car?

Even though you don't have the tow package you can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 118270. This will plug into your factory connector at the rear of your 2017 Traverse. It also includes all of the necessary fuses and relays to activate the tow package so it doesn't matter that your vehicle didn't come with it.
I have attached an installation video below for your reference.
