Hey Cody,
The amount of leafs in the spring isn't as big as factor as you'd think. The more leafs the softer the progression will be when the spring is compressing. Less leafs will give you a stiff progression as the spring compresses. When you measured from center to center on your eyelets did you lift the trailer and allow the axle to hang to take the weight of the springs? If not, you'll need to so that you can get an accurate measurement.
Once we have that measurement we'll also need to know the axle capacity so that we can choose the appropriate leaf springs. There should be a white sticker on the axle that lists the capacity or serial number. If not, you can measure the diameter of the axle tube to give us a ballpark figure for capacity.
Let me know what you find and I'd be happy to keep looking for a replacement for you.

Thanks for the quick reply kevin! Yes I did measure the spring without the long on it. And the trailer is very old I doubt it ever had a tag on the axle but it's 4" drop with a 2?" tube the trailer it's self is just a lil 5' wide 14' long stock trailer I've looked everywhere trying to match the spring that was in it
