Are The Threads on the 2" Square Trailer U-Bolt # SP01-160 Cut or Rolled and Can They Be Cut Deeper?

Are the threads on this U bolt cut or rolled? can i drive the threaded portion of the bolt deeper using a properly sized die?

The threads on the 2" Square Trailer U-Bolt # SP01-160 are rolled. We do not recommend attempting to cut the threads any deeper on the bolt. You can use a spacer to help make up for the difference if you are not able to find another U-Bolt with the deeper threads you are needing.
