Question:
I need help. I have an old boat trailer that has no hubs…meaning the rim is held on by the axle nut. I want to convert it to a hub and rim setup. The hub in the wheel is 3 1/4” deep. The spindle is 1” on both bearings. The spot where the seal rides measures 1.245”. Can you help me find a set of idler hubs? Thanks

Hey Joseph, depending on your bolt pattern I'd recommend going with either the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-G-1K for a 5 on 4 1/2" or the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles # AKIHUB-440-2-G-1K for a 4 on 4.
Both of these kits will fit your 1" spindle with the inner diameter of the bearings being 1 inch inner diameter for both the inner and outer bearings, include the races, seal, grease cap, and lug nuts and are galvanized for extra corrosion resistance.
