Trailer Hitch for 2016 Mercedes GLE350 d Diesel

Question:

Hi Jameson, I'm looking for a hitch for my 2016 Mercedes GLE350 d Diesel. I was told a special hitch needed as the blue water tank sits on the diesel. I was also told that the blue water tank should be removed and then installed back with a code to be provided by Mercedes to make it work again. Any products available and does the body shop need the reprogramming code to make the blue water working? Thank you!

Hey there, so the Curt hitch # C13294 is a fit for your 2016 Mercedes GLE350 Blue Tec. The tank would need to be removed and reinstalled but you wouldn't have to program it at a dealer. Basically it just gets lowered and put back up so you don't have to unplug it.
