Which Size Roof Box Fits 2024 Mazda CX-5

Hi, I just bought a 2024 Mazda cx5 I was wondering what size RoofBox I can fit ? 16 or 18 or 21? Or all three? I have a feeling the 21 is way too big on the cx5?!?! Thanks !

I'm assuming you're talking about the Yakima SkyBox based on what you were looking at. All three sizes will technically fit your 2024 Mazda CX-5. However, you may not be able to open the rear hatch depending on the size/model. The only way to be sure is to measure your roof rack to find out. The measurement you need is the distance between the center of the front crossbar and the line where the roof and hatch meet. Once you have this you can check it against the required measurements for a particular roof box.
For example, the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft # Y95AV requires a measurement of at least 47" for rear hatch clearance. The # SkyBox NX 18 # Y45AV requires 50" and the larger SkyBox 21 # Y07337 requires 57". I'm sure you won't be able to open the rear if you're using the 21. The 16 I'm sure will work based on the fact we tested it on a 2021 model so if you want the extra space of the 18 I would double check that measurement.
