Is Installing 2 Vents on a 12' Enclosed Trailer Overkill in Florida

Would 2 roof vents on a 7 x 12 enclosed cargo trailer be over kill and actually detrimental to the integrity of the roof? Or would the increased ventilation be worth it? I live in Florida.

Hey CJ, thanks for reaching out!
For standard manual vents you will be perfectly fine adding 2 of them on your enclosed trailer, and it will definitely be worth it down in Florida. If you were looking at a powered option with a fan I would say more than one is overkill, but that's not the case when these aren't powered.
Cutting two 14" x 14" holes won't be detrimental to the integrity of the roof, but you'll likely need to install some bracing inside for everything to fit and be secured properly. I'm attaching an installation video of the Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V3092-603-00 on an enclosed trailer so you can see what I'm talking about.
The one time I've visited Florida there were random rain storms that would pop up out of the blue so if that's about where you're located then I recommend picking up the MaxxAir Mini Manual RV Roof Vent, in Black # MA00-03750 or White # MA00-03700, because it comes with a built-in cover so you can keep the vent opened up while it's raining or even during travel without any issues.
