Troubleshooting Curt Wriing Throwing Codes on a 2017 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I bought a trailer lighting kit for 2017 Rav 4 and now the ABS / TCS and turn signal lights blink and sometimes blink fast. I checked the ground to the controller and on a clean paint removed chassie connection. I believe it was a Curtis kit.

The best way to start off troubleshooting the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56350 on your 2017 Toyota RAV4 is to get in behind your tail light assemblies and remove the tee in connections so that the Curt wiring isn't a part of your RAV4 anymore.

If the problem goes away then it sounds like something is wrong with the Curt wring and you'll want to get it replaced under warranty, but if the problem still exists then you'll need to take your vehicle to a shop as it would indicate a bad sensor somewhere.
