Question:

I would like to add a reverse light on my trailer so I can see backing up. I would also like to use the four pin connector. Is it possible this is just for lights to see thinking I would use a 60-in strip on the back of the trailer?

Thanks for reaching out, Steve!

For a 60" light strip we have the Premium Slim LED Strip Light # TN38ZR which is weatherproof and rated for 3,638 Lumens. You'll need the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05744-10 to make your connections and you'll also need to tap into the reverse light function on your tow vehicle with the wiring kit # 20036 as well as change your trailer connector to a 5-Way with part # HM37918 so everything will match up.

@Steven If you let me know the year/make/model of your vehicles I can see if we have any plug-and-play style of connectors that offer the full 7-Way connector function so then you just need to do the work on your trailer instead of your tow vehicles.

@Steven Thanks! Your F-150 should already come with a 7-Way but if you need a replacement we have the part # HM40975 you can use for the truck. When it comes to the trailer side of things we have the 7-Way # H20046 and Junction Box # 3375601101 for a clean and effective way to connect the wiring for that reverse light strip.
