How Wide Are the Slats on the ARB Base Platform Rack?

How wide are the side to side crossbars on this rack? I want to know why size u-bolts or accessory feet could clamp around them.

Hey Huff! I just spoke with ARB, the slats on the ARB Base Platform Rack item # ARB22GR measure 5" wide and are 1" thick.
