Hello! Im looking to replace the factory crossbars on my 2023 SR5 4Runner to accommodate a load assist kayak rack, but Im trying to minimize the height Im adding to the vehicle as much as possible. Are you able to make any recommendations on the lowest profile overhang crossbars for my raised roof rails? Thanks in advance for any assistance you might be able to offer!

Personally I would go with Thule roof rack since their Hullavator Pro Kayak Roof Rack # TH898 is by far the best option for a load assisted kayak rack. This rack allows you to do all your straps from the lowered position making it so much easier to both load and unload a kayak up to 75lbs. By using a Thule roof rack it also allows you to use all the same Lock Cores # TH450800 so you only have one key for all your locks. You will need their WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420 and Feet # TH710401 to attach to your raised rails on your 2023 Toyota 4Runner SR5.
